Team Volunteer Positions We need your help at times other than swim meets too! This is a list of opportunities for you to really show your support of the team. This sign up is distributed at registration. If you can't find your copy or need another one, use the link here to print one from Adobe Reader, fill it out and return it to the Pool Office. Apparel/Spirit Clothing - Work with the vendor to determine what items to offer, coordinate design, create order forms, collect order forms and payments, make the order, distribute the order. Communications - Contribute articles, announcements, etc. for distribution in our family mailbox folders, newsletter and this website. Phone Tree - FAST phone list is divided between several volunteers who call members with last minute information such as sudden practice cancellations, pool problems, and the like. New Member Mentor - Help orient a new FAST family into the team! Overnight Trip Coordinator - Occassionally our swimmers have the opportunity to compete in meets that involve travel. Coordinate travel, boarding and group meals! Incentive Programs for the Swimmers - Help put a smile on a swimmer!! "Best Time" Ribbons - Each swimmer that achieves a personal best time receives a ribbon to recognize that accomplishment. Coordinate with the coaches which swimmers receive these ribbons after each meet and complete the pertinent information on the ribbon. FAST Championship Team - Each swimmer that competes in a pre-determined number of meets receives a championship team t-shirt to wear to their championship meet! We need a coordinator to track meet attendance on a chart and then coordinate the t-shirt order with the apparel vendor. Social Event Planning - Party! Halloween Party - Coordinate refreshments, games and prizes with the coaches. Punch, Cookies, Pizza, etc. Winter Holiday Party - Coordinate refreshments, games and prizes with the coaches. Punch, Cookies, Pizza, etc. Swim Team Banquet - Coordinate the annual banquet, usually held after Championships in March. This involves arranging a hall or banquet facility, menu and disc jockey. Coordinate trophy and award orders with the coaches.
